Mt Vernon

Cooley Place Initiative

Money-earning Mt Vernon is home to Habitat's ReStore, and its exciting new building initiatives. Habitat has completed two homes on Cooley Place, and we will build a thrid home as well as rehabs in the neighborhood.

Habitat's Brush of Kindness Programs include painting the Boy's Club, rehabbing seniors and veterans homes, rehabbing the YMCA homeless shelter program. It's LPC (local project committee) meets at South Street Cafe once a month and holds weekly conference calls. Join us at Yvonne's on Jan 18th for a benefit.
