Some of the early projects took place in White Plains. Now a City of beauty with the daily hustle and bustle of businesses. There was a time when housing was needed and some areas were desperate for changes.
Habitat build 3 homes on the actual location where former Mayor Joseph Delfino grew up.

White Plains Update

Habitat has completed ten homes in White Plains and welcomes volunteers from both companies and congregations. Trinity Lutheran, Temple Israel, and many more volunteer with us frequently. We have hmes on Fairview Ave, Odell, and many Brush with Kindness projects throughtout the city!

White Plains Builds Again

White Plains Habitat is on the move! Having built 10 projects in the past--including our first six-house neighborhood in Fairview Ave, Habitat is now rehabbing a home at 10 Odell, in building a new home for the Brown family at 3 Highland. The local project committee meets once a month at Magnotta's Restaurant on Maple Ave. and holds weekly conference calls.

Join us the third Saturday of every month at Magnotta's for a tour of the neighborhood of Habitat's success.

Habitat has instituted green building techniques at 10 Odell, including using the techniques of blue jean insulation.
