Habitat has rehabbed more then 10 homes and has built two homes on Lincoln Ave. Our Brush with Kindness program, led by New Rochelle High and Iona College, has helped to paint parks, post office benches, parking garages and community centers as well as local community centers.

Habitat also has its ReStore in New Rochelle as well as its headquarters at 524 Main Street. Its newly purchased headquarters offers a green resource center to the public where classes on weatherizing homes and saving energy are given. This green building has solar panels, energy-efficient bubs, green flooring, and zero VOC paints. It also has an international room/chapel highlighting the international work in the more than 500 homes Habitat of Westchester has sponsored internationally.

Also, Habitat facilitates neighborhood meetings for its local businesses and neighborhoods called SoNo.

Every Monday night at 6pm, our volunteer orientation is held. Also, LPC leadership training his held in New Rochelle at our headquarters.
