End of Martin Luther King Week sees 250 Volunteers Build...Begins the Decade of Service

More than 250 volunteers built all week long..and this Sunday..Jan 23^rd sees a joint effort of Iona, Monroe and College of New Rochelle painting together in a Brush with Kindness project painting the Hartley apartments..it will end with a group discussion with residents and luncheon by the Monroe Culinary Institute…This week saw Christ Methodist Church, Iona Prep, Mamoroneck High, Divney Tung Schwalbe, New Rochelle,Horace Greely, Harrison, Ardsley High, Hastings High, Horace Mann, all volunteer on sites….Simultaneously, Habitat for Humanity of Westchester left for Haiti, to meet with Habitat Haiti officials, for a long term reconstruction partnership …from Westchester County to Port Au Prince…..we have only just begun!  Thank you TF ANDREW CARPET ONE for major sponsorship….
