From all over the country..300 students come into Westchester NY to build with us…we welcome this first week Boston. College, Beloit from Wisconsin, and Lebanon from Pennsylvania..all working hard, all going to help us change the county in terms of housing opportunities..its time..
JOIN US AS GROUPS LIKE THE PORTCHESTER ROTARY,A LOCAL SCHOOL CLASS, A CONFIRMATION CLASS AND MORE DONATE A LUNCH FOR A HOME IN HAITI!
The concept is simple…by sacrificing a lunch or a coffee, or a dinner or a movie, this Lent season, and contributing it to Habitat…your donation is doubled by the Lanza family foundation…to be able to help someone have a home in Haiti…Habitat of Haiti has built more than 2000 homes there already, and now will build 50,000 homes…from the wealthiest county of the world, one of them, can we contribute to one of the poorest countries in our hemisphere…help someone have a home this Lenten season..
You can bring your change, your check, or your credit card on line..make sure you mention it is for Haiti…and help someone out of a tent into a home..

On Friday Feb.12..Habitat for Humanity of Westchester announces it new Haiti Dept as a support to assist its number of interested volunteers, supporters and builders who want to help in the 100 homes for Haiti challenge now..focused on the county's efforts in building homes there..
It will announce about a number of events planned, trips coming ahead and a special Lenten challenge for those who want to contribute.
From 11:30 until 2pm, people can stop by Bella Bellas restaurant on Main St in New Rochelle and: see photos taken, pick up information and hear about Habitat's building schedule and success with the 100,000 challenge by the Lanza Family foundation.
All over the county, its hammer time...not on the field, but on homes...from Yonkers to
New Rochelle to Somers to Mamaroneck. Its time to be able to be a winner...with Habitat's Superbowl Buildathon
